▎태양의 후예 온유(Onew / Shinee)
태양의 후예에 출연 중인 그룹 샤이니의 온유. 1989년생인 온유의 본명은 이진기입니다. 그룹 샤이니의 리드 보컬이며 그룹 내에 맏형이기도 하고, 배우로도 활동하고 있는 온유가 올해 최대 화제작 태양의 후예에 캐스팅되면서 사람들의 뜨거운 관심을 한 몸에 받고 있습니다. 온유는 그동안 말끔하고 귀여운 인상으로 여러 편의 작품에서 크고 작은 역할을 맡았습니다. ▎태양의 후예 온유(Onew / Shinee) 이치훈 레지던트 변신
태양의 후예에서 온유는 흉부외과 레지턴트 1년차 이치훈 역을 맡았습니다. 온유는 부잣집 도련님이지만 빌게이츠가 아닌 슈바이쳐를 동경해 선뜻 의료 봉사를 하겠다고 나서는 기특한 청년입니다. 그런데 여자 친구가 임신을 한 상태에요. 아직 결혼을 하지는 않았지만 커플링을 나눠 끼고 미래를 약속한 사이로 나오는데 나름 책임감(?)있는 모습으로 그려집니다. 게다가 온유가 의료봉사를 떠난 우르크 현지에서 밤마다 여자 친구에게 전화를 하는 다정한 남자이기도 하지요. 그리고 성장배경 때문인지 성격 탓인지 위생 관념이 남다르네요. 같이 퍼먹는 음식은 지저분하다고 생각하고, 옷에 묻은 먼지도 쉽게 용서를 못하죠. 우크르 공항에 도착하는 장면에서 그 더운 날씨에 긴팔 상의를 입고 보기 좋게 멋을 내 쓸어 넘긴 헤어스타일은 그의 패션 감각을 돋보이게 합니다. 다정하고 친근하면서 때로는 철없어 보이는 온유. 그는 늘 웃음 가득한 얼굴로 시청자들을 기분 좋게 합니다.

Acting Onew starred in various musicals starting in 2010, debuting in the musical Hyeongjeneun Yonggamhaetda ("Brothers were Brave") alongside singer Lee Ji-hoon. He then starred in the Korean production of Rock of Ages playing the lead role, Drew. He has also showcased his acting skills via television having a cameo role as a clumsy doctor in the drama Dr. Champ. He appeared in the drama's final episode. He also had cameo role's in the dramas Athena: Goddess of War, Oh My God x2, Pure Love and for sitcom Royal Villa. In 2015 Onew was chosen out of more than 2,000 people as the main lead of a new web drama, Dating was the Easiest. The drama is adapted from a popular webtoon of the same title, the drama revolves around the pure yet boisterous romance between a tiger spirit of the mountains and a high school girl. Onew was casted because of his unique analysis of the character and his determination whilst preparing for the auditions. He was also confirmed for the upcoming Song Hye-kyo's and Song Joong-ki's Descendants of the Sun drama. He's going to play a young doctor, who is a junior of Song Hye-kyo's character, Kang Mo-yeon. |

Shinee (Main article: Shinee) Onew was discovered at the 2006 S.M. Academy Casting. Onew received great appreciation from Lee Soo-man, SM Entertainment's founder, at Girls' Generation's debut showcase. Lee Soo-man noticed him and wanted to hear Onew sing during a one time on the spot audition. He signed the contract with SM the day after he auditioned. In 2008, he was chosen as a member of the group Shinee, and the 5-member boy group debuted on May 25, 2008 on SBS's Inkigayo. |

Solo Onew contributed to singles for Lee Hyeon-ji (for "Vanilla LOVE" and "Vanilla Love Part 2"), Girls' Generation member Jessica for the song "One Year Later" in the Tell Me Your Wish (Genie) mini-album and a duet with Kim Yeon-woo for the song, "The Name I Loved" from the third mini album by Shinee, "2009, Year Of Us." Onew recorded a song titled "In Your Eyes" for drama series To The Beautiful You. The song was released for the albums To The Beautiful You OST Part 2 on August 22, 2012. Onew also sang the OST "Moonlight" for drama "Miss Korea". The song was released on January 3, 2014. |
